For a multi-volume academic publication titled The Letters of Ernest Hemingway (Cambridge University Press), I am interested in the history of Wardles, in Nairobi, which Hemingway recommended to his friend who was planning a safari in 1936. Was A. H. Wardle, the English pharmacist who came to Nairobi c. 1906, the photographer in question? Any information you can give us would be highly appreciated! Thank you.
